As a manager, you'll play a key role in setting your team up for success. Here's how to get started:

Add Your Team Members

  1. Head to the Team Management section to invite your fundraisers.

  2. Select 'Usage and Allocation' at the top to add new accounts.

  3. Select the orange button '+ Add Members'. Here you will enter their email address to send the invite. Each member will receive an email to activate their account and jump in.

  4. Allocate or Remove Minutes by selecting 'Manage Time' next to the individual fundraiser.

Select Scenarios for Your Team to Focus On

Guide your fundraisers by choosing which scenarios are most valuable for their current goals.

  • Browse Scenarios Together: Filter by avatar type, relationship phase, or skill indicator.

  • Pin Scenarios: Tell your fundraisers to pin specific conversations (e.g., cold calls, class reunion asks) so they’re easy to find.

  • Create Alignment: Ensure your team is practicing the scenarios that matter most to your fundraising strategy.

Provide Guidance on Calendar Holds

Consistent practice leads to better results. As a manager, you can set the tone by making space for practice.

  • Add Calendar Holds: Block 30 minutes on your team’s calendars each week for Practivated sessions.

  • Normalize Practice: Treat it like a workout—regular reps build skill and confidence.

  • Lead by Example: Share results and what you've learned from your own practice scenario or schedule a debrief discussion to reinforce the importance of practice.

Support Growth with Tivy & Team Insights

After every session, your team members get instant feedback from Tivy, their AI fundraising coach. As a manager, you can:

  • Encourage Reflection: Remind your team to review their feedback and talk with Tivy for deeper insights.

  • Track Team Progress: Check in on usage and growth over time to celebrate wins and identify coaching opportunities.

Pro Tips for Managers:

  1. Set Clear Expectations: Share how often you’d like your team to practice.

  2. Celebrate Progress: Call out growth in team meetings to build momentum.

  3. Align with Goals: Connect practice scenarios to your fundraising calendar or campaign priorities.

  4. Foster a Growth Culture: Emphasize that practice is for building skills—not performance evaluation.

You’re Ready to Lead Your Team in Practivated

With your guidance, your team will feel supported, prepared, and motivated to strengthen their donor conversations. Add your members, set expectations, and watch their confidence and skills grow.
